Our Team

Claire Derlot joined Seventure Partners in September 2025 as a Microbiome & Bio-Industry Investment Advisor within the Life Sciences team, with a particular focus on opportunities related to the microbiome as well as bio-manufactured products.

Based in Aurillac in France, Claire brings a unique industrial background in the small and large-scale bioproduction of live microorganisms, both single- and multi-strain, for pharmaceutical, clinical, and consumer health applications.

Prior to joining Seventure, Claire spent ten years at Biose Industrie, a global pioneer in the GMP production of live biotherapeutics (LBPs). She played a key role in the company’s evolution from a 57-person biotech to a globally recognized CDMO, supporting its scale-up, strategic transformation, and international expansion.

Over the years, she held multiple leadership roles—from Bioprocess R&D Engineer and Program Leader to Head of Programs, before being appointed Chief Business & Program Officer. In this role, she led the Program Management, Account Management, Business Development, Sales, and Industrial Planning teams.

Claire has contributed to the development of over 50 client programs in areas such as gastrointestinal, vaginal, and dermatological health. She supported numerous IND and IMPD submissions, as well as dietary supplement dossiers, working with regulatory agencies in the US, Europe, and Asia (FDA, EMA, KFDA, EFSA).

Her in-depth knowledge of quality standards, process development, and project positioning—combined with strong international exposure—now supports her work assessing investment opportunities across the life sciences and microbiome space.

Claire holds an engineering degree in Biochemical Engineering from INSA Toulouse, a master’s in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Toulouse (Paul Sabatier), and a PhD in Biotechnology from AgroParisTech, conducted at IFP Energies Nouvelles.
