Pan European MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler)
Transatel is a pan European MVNE (Mobile Virtual network Enabler) with its headquarter in France and subsidiaries in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the UK. Leveraging on its infrastructure and agreements with operators, Transatel has launched multiple MVNOs in Belgium and the Netherlands. The company is currently using BASE network in Belgium and TELFORT network in the Netherlands. The company has also launched in January 2002 a mobile service under its own brand focusing international frequent travellers and bringing 30% to 100% price reduction on GSM mobile roaming charges plus improved seamless services. This service has been developed thanks to proprietary technologies and Agreements with the operators mentioned above (BASE, TELFORT) and also specific agreements with BOUYGUES TELECOM and TANGO. |
